• Trips are reliant on weather conditions. The company reserves the right to cancel trips due to bad weather and any other unfavourable circumstance at the skipper’s discretion. Clients will be duly notified of trip cancellation as soon as the decision has been taken.
• When the paid trips are cancelled because of the above circumstances, clients will either be refunded or given the opportunity to reschedule.
• If at the discretion of the skipper, the trip is unsatisfactory due to absolutely NO sightings, clients may be refunded 50% of the fee or provided an alternative on a later trip depending on availability.
• Clients are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure, otherwise, the booking will be cancelled without refund.
• Group bookings (more than 5 people) will only be confirmed upon full payment. If cancelled, or the number of clients changes, the office must be notified at least 48 hours before departure. Cancellation terms apply.

Cancellation by clients:

• NO REFUNDS  if cancelled 24 hours prior to the trip
• NO REFUNDS for No Shows
• NO REFUNDS for Private Charters if cancelled 72 hours prior to the trip
• 50% of the trip cost payable for group bookings ( more than 5 people) after 30 days of the booking date

Cancellation by the Company:

• FULL REFUND if the trip is cancelled because of the weather
• FULL REFUND if the trip is cancelled because of mechanical failure

This cancellation Policy is at the discretion of HermanusWhale Watchers, should there be otherwise agreed.

Arrival times:

Arrival time is 30 mins before the trip.
